A quiet one-room folk museum in a residential neighbourhood of Matsue. Inside, old pottery, woven textiles, and wooden daily utensils line the shelves with handwritten labels. The room is always silent; only birdsong from outside breaks the stillness. The pitched wooden floor creaks softly with each step, creating a small echo. An elderly caretaker couple sometimes sits at a table drinking tea and reading. On Sunday afternoons, northern light through the window softly illuminates the pottery on display.

Exhibits focus on regional household items and are rotated periodically. During winter, some shoji screens are removed so visitors can enjoy the snow scenery. Admission is 300 yen, cash only. No reception desk; visitors place their fee in the bamboo basket at the entrance.
